Southwest Strategies Group is a full range real estate brokerage and development company. Founded in 1983, SSG partners each have more than 30 years’ experience in local commercial real estate. SSG delivers redevelopment and real estate investment expertise. SSG’s Principals John Rosato and Daniel Roth are particularly suited to planning and development, with the formal education and practical experience to counsel clients in every level of strategy and execution. Together they have conceived plans and developed raw land, redeveloped existing buildings, and managed the processes of permitting and constructing projects ranging from multi-family and office to eclectic mixed-use developments, such as the Seaholm Power Plant Redevelopment.

For almost 30 years Southwest Strategies Group (SSG) has been providing real estate services to both public and private entities. SSG has extensive experience in acquisition and disposition of properties for both types of entities. Of utmost relevant experience, SSG served as Real Estate consultants to AISD for 18 years, since the Austin Independent School District 1996 bond issue. Under the 1996 scope of work SSG provided search services for raw land and consulted with the District on expansion of existing school sites and acquisition of other miscellaneous buildings and property. SSG provided real estate services for some 12-14 new school locations. One of which, Pickle Elementary, required the aggregation of 40 separate parcels which in turn included relocation of some 25 homes and their residents. Services included identification of sites, support for the school district during due-diligence period, and coordination of legal and closing requirements.

In addition, past clients include Austin Travis County Integral Care (ATCIC) where SSG handled approximately 50 of their real estate transactions. This includes site and property acquisition and disposition services as well as leasing services. The most recent transaction was the sale of an office on East Avenue in the Rainey Street area. SSG has worked with Texas Department of Transportation where they served as a relocation consultant to the Right of Way division on the State’s Highway 130 project.
